Jibal Khadhra Contracting and Trading was established in 2009 as part of the Wataniya Group. With headquarters in Iraq and the United Arab Emirates, we have grown into a multi-sector company with a strong presence in the oil and gas, construction, and trading industries.

Oil and Gas

  • Major strategic project in Al-Muthanna, Iraq, producing Special Boiling Point Spirit (SBPS) from naphtha.
  • Chinese company “Maison” is the EPC contractor.
  • Focus on hydrocarbon solvents (paraffinic, naphthenic, and aromatic components).

  • Supplying food supplies (cooking oils, lentils, beans, sugar, washing powder) and agricultural chemicals to the Iraqi government.

  • Wataniya Bitumen and Oil Refinery – Naphtha Hydrotreating Unit, Bitumen production, Loading Arms, Cutback, and VDU (Vacuum Distillation Unit).
  • Saman Cement Plant – Partnered with Poerner and EPC SEPCO.
  • Saman Power Plant – Powered by MAN Diesel & Turbo and CGGC.
  • Wataniya Steel – Electric Arc Furnace (EAF) and Continuous Casting Machine (CCM).
